Dull, dingy, yellow headlamps are as common as they are aggravating to drivers. They cause reduced visibility and are very unsightly. Most modern vehicles use plastic headlamps and many will discolor with age. Replacement is expensive and unnecessary. They are surprisingly easy to restore with inexpensive cleaners.

A buffer makes the job easier, but with a little effort, rubbing by hand will get the job done. Just follow the instructions on the bottle. Below is an example of a 2000 Toyota Camry. About five minutes with a hand towel and you can see the results.
Almost any auto parts store will have plastic headlamp cleaner. Pickup a bottle and give it a go. All you have to lose are those yellow headlamps.
